QB2 1.0 Double Port Exhaust Valve
QB2 1.0 Double Port Exhaust Valve is a pipe fitting, which is mainly used to remove air and gas inside the pipeline to ensure the normal operation of the pipeline system. This type of exhaust valve is usually installed at the high point or closed point of the pipe, such as the outlet of the pump, in order to remove the gas from the pipe, unclog the pipe, and make the pipe function properly. QB2 1.0 double port exhaust valve is suitable for water and hot water pipes with a temperature of no more than 100°C, so that all the air in the pipes can be discharged.
How it works
The working principle of the QB2 1.0 double port exhaust valve is based on fluid dynamics and mechanical action. When the water in the pipe is filled, the disc is in the open position and a large amount of air is vented. When the air is exhausted, the valve is filled with water, and the float rises and drives the valve disc to close, stopping the exhaust. When the water in the pipe is transported normally, if a small amount of air gathers in the valve to a certain extent, the water level in the valve drops, and the float drops accordingly, and the air is discharged through the small hole. When the pump stops, the water in the pipe is empty or negative pressure is generated in the pipe, and the plug head is quickly opened to draw in outside air to prevent the pipeline from being damaged due to negative pressure.
Advantages and potential drawbacks
The advantages of the QB2 1.0 double port vent valve include automatic venting, efficient exhausting, high corrosion resistance, and simple maintenance. It can automatically open and close according to the change of system pressure, vent in time, and has good sealing performance to prevent interpenetration between water and gas. In addition, due to its simple structure and easy maintenance, seals can be quickly cleaned and replaced, keeping the exhaust valve in normal operation.
Potential disadvantages may include relatively high cost, especially in large valves. For some extreme applications, special designs or materials may be required. In addition, if not properly maintained, sealing performance may be reduced, affecting the valve's service life and reliability.
Application scenarios
QB2 1.0 Double Port Exhaust Valve is widely used in construction, industrial and residential water supply systems. They play an important role in preventing gas build-up in pipelines, reducing hydraulic shocks, improving water supply efficiency, and reducing system failures. At the same time, the QB2 1.0 double-port exhaust valve can also adapt to pipes of different diameters and pressure levels, and provides a variety of installation methods to meet the needs of different systems.
