The gate of a soft-sealed gate valve has two sealing surfaces, usually forming a wedge shape, and the wedge angle varies with the valve parameters. Its nominal diameter range is DN50~DN1200, and the operating temperature does not exceed 200℃. This valve is usually made of gray cast iron, ductile iron and other materials, with a working pressure of 1.0/1.6Mpa and a working temperature of 95℃. It is suitable for media such as water, sewage, and drinking water.
In addition, the elastic soft-sealed gate valve has the characteristics of a flat-bottomed valve seat and is suitable for automatic control devices. This design can effectively prevent foreign objects such as stones, wood blocks, cement, paper scraps and other debris from accumulating in the groove at the bottom of the valve.
Soft-sealed gate valves are widely used in water conservancy projects to connect pipes and switches. They are simple in shape and widely applicable.
